Alternative Port Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) recognizes that protecting the personal information it obtains through its business is an important social responsibility, and handles personal information in accordance with the following.
1. Information we collect
- Information you provide: name (including phonetic reading), address, telephone/fax number, email address, organization (company, group, school), department and title, date of birth, gender, credit card information, and other information you provide.
- Information obtained in connection with your use of the Service: transaction history linked to information that identifies you; the content of your questions, survey responses and campaign entries.
- Information obtained automatically on access: IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, the pages (URLs) you view and the date/time, and access logs obtained via cookies and web beacons. The Company does not include your personal information in cookie information.
2. Purposes of use
The Company uses personal information for the following purposes and does not use it beyond them:
- User authentication and automatic display of your information when you use the Service;
- Performing transactions you apply for (providing services, settling payment, responding to inquiries, related after-service);
- Advertising and marketing, such as newsletters and information about products, services and events, and personalizing content and ads based on attributes and history;
- Analyzing use of the Service to develop and improve services;
- Responding to your inquiries;
- Behavioral targeting advertising using cookies provided by advertising companies (you can disable this via your settings; see the providers’ information here);
- Use of cookie information, which may be combined with your personal information for verifying data accuracy and measuring/delivering ads.
3. Provision to third parties and joint use within the group
The Company handles personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. Within the necessary scope, the Company jointly uses your personal data among its group companies; the manager responsible for joint use is Alternative Port Co., Ltd. In accordance with JIS Q 15001, except where provided by law, the Company does not provide your personal information to third parties without your consent, and does so only after specifying the recipient and content and obtaining your consent. The Company may outsource part of its operations (for example, website hosting) and entrust personal information to processors, selecting appropriate processors and requiring proper management by contract.
4. Accuracy and security of data
The Company may ask for your cooperation to keep your personal data accurate and up to date. To protect important information such as credit card numbers at the time of input, the Company uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to prevent interception, interference or alteration.
5. Retention and requests for disclosure
You have the right to request, with respect to your retained personal data, (1) notification of the purpose of use, (2) disclosure, (3) correction, addition or deletion of the contents, and (4) suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties. Please contact the personal information desk below; we will send our prescribed request form and respond after confirming your identity. Depending on the nature of the data, deletion may not be possible, in which case we respond by suspending use.

7. Provision of personal information within the Service (OkiWork)
Because OkiWork handles travel services, the Company provides your personal information to the following parties, to the extent necessary to arrange and provide travel. Recipients vary with the contents of your booking; we do not provide information to properties or operators you have not booked.
